1. Who we are

AppStack ("we", "our", "us") is a Shopify app that helps merchants understand the speed impact and cost of their installed apps. Our service is available at appsstack.io.

2. What data we collect

When you install AppStack, we collect:

Shop information — your Shopify store domain and the email address associated with your Shopify account.
Installed apps — the list of apps installed on your store, including their names and any available pricing information.
Storefront performance data — page speed metrics for your store's URLs, fetched via Google PageSpeed Insights.

We do not collect customer data, order data, or any personally identifiable information about your store's customers.

3. How we use your data

We use the data collected to:

Display your app stack, speed scores, and cost breakdown inside the AppStack dashboard.
Generate recommendations for improving store performance and reducing app spend.
Send you a weekly email digest summarising changes to your app stack and speed score.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell or share your data with third parties, except:

Google PageSpeed Insights API — your store's public URL is submitted to Google to retrieve performance metrics. This is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Resend — we use Resend to send weekly digest emails. Your shop email address is shared with Resend for this purpose.
Vercel / Supabase — our infrastructure providers. Data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt region).

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as AppStack is installed on your store. When you uninstall AppStack, your store's data is deleted from our systems within 48 hours.

6. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at support@appsstack.io. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

AppStack does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. Session cookies may be used by the Shopify embedded app framework for authentication purposes.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of AppStack after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
